‘Family finances’ webcast

Lawrence Gold

ParentsCentre is now showing an interview with financial adviser Lawrence Gold on the subject of family finances.

Different families will have varying incomes, outgoings and spending habits but they all benefit from sound financial advice.

Financial expert Lawrence, who features in the BBC television programme Bank of Mum & Dad, answered questions on subjects including family budgets, the Child Trust Fund and pocket money for teenagers.

He also gave advice on how to stay debt-free - or pay off existing debts - and how best to help children learn about money.

Conducting the interview was Alexa Tilley, who was recently a contestant on the popular BBC show The Apprentice.
